The Value of Partnserhips

Throughout my career, I've cultivated a rich tapestry of strategic partnerships spanning academia, business, education, and governance. These collaborations have been integral in driving forward innovation and impactful change. Working closely with educational institutions, industry leaders, policymakers, and advocacy groups, I've strived to bridge the gap between various sectors, fostering environments where collective insights lead to meaningful solutions.

NuVu x Peak Scientific

In my role at NuVu, I established a partnership with Peak Scientific, which led to the creation of the Innovation Camp for Business Leaders. This program was designed to foster creative potential and enhance innovative problem-solving skills among corporate executives and aspiring entrepreneurs. The workshop represented an innovative approach to professional development, focusing on actionable strategies and hands-on experiences.

Additionally, this collaboration with Peak Scientific expanded to a socially responsible initiative. We co-developed a sponsored summer program, offering 20 places to council students from underprivileged backgrounds. This program was aimed at providing these students with educational opportunities and experiences they might not otherwise have access to, reflecting our shared commitment to making a positive impact in the community and enhancing educational accessibility.

NuVu x Plexus

At NuVu, our partnership with Plexus was instrumental in creating the Design Thinking to Innovation Program for Business Leaders. This intensive program was the result of a collaborative effort, focusing on instilling a culture of innovation and strategic thinking among professionals. Our joint venture led to the conception of an agile, dynamic methodology that encouraged participants to apply their skills to real-world challenges.

Moreover, this collaboration expanded into the educational realm, where we co-developed specialized engineering workshops for Kelvinside Academy students. These workshops played a vital role in fostering young talent and creating a seamless connection between academic learning and industry applications. The success of these initiatives highlighted the power of collaboration in driving innovation and bridging critical gaps between different sectors.

NuVu x Scottish Parliament

In a landmark initiative at NuVu, I had the privilege of facilitating an exclusive workshop with distinguished members of the Scottish Parliament, including prominent figures from the Scottish Labour and Liberal Democrats. This workshop was designed to bridge the gap between technological innovation and governmental policymaking. Focused on fostering creative problem-solving and strategic thinking, the program provided a unique platform for these leaders to explore and understand emerging technologies and their potential impact on public policy. The interactive sessions emphasized collaborative approaches, encouraging a dialogue between technology experts and policymakers. This initiative not only strengthened our ties with the government sector but also underscored NuVu's commitment to driving innovation at the intersection of technology and governance.

MIT x NuVu x COP 26

During the pivotal COP 26 conference, I facilitated a crucial meeting between high-profile international leaders at NuVu's innovation learning hub. This session brought together Epsy Campbell, Vice-President of Costa Rica; US Congressman Gregory Meeks, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee; and Mia Motley, Prime Minister of Barbados, among other esteemed members of the Afro-Interamerican Forum on Climate Change. The focus of the conference was on the vital role of community-based conservation in addressing the climate crisis. This event was organized by the MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative Lab.

Vise-Up x Rolls Royce

We spearheaded a unique collaboration between Rolls Royce, GE Aviation, and Vise-up at the NuVu Innovation School, located within Kelvinside Academy. This partnership was born out of an urgent need during the global pandemic – to rapidly produce and distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to hospitals across the UK. Learn More

Filament PD x Kelvinside Academy

Collaborating with Filament PD, we embarked on a journey to engage and inspire the young minds at Kelvinside Academy. Through a series of workshops and design sprints, we worked closely with the students to conceptualize and design an air quality sensor unlike any other – Nooku.

Cerebral Palsy Scotland

At NuVu, we collaborated with Cerebral Palsy Scotland, a leading organization dedicated to supporting individuals with cerebral palsy. The goal was to develop specialized learning programs for educators, focusing on creating products and solutions to assist those living with cerebral palsy.

The project began with an in-depth needs analysis, where we engaged with Cerebral Palsy Scotland to understand the specific challenges faced by individuals with cerebral palsy in their daily lives. This phase included discussions with healthcare professionals, individuals with cerebral palsy, and their families to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
